The plotline is as simple as it can be, rich boy poor-girl dynamic, with dark academia vibes, where they are enemies turned lovers, Meh! basic as every other story. Only if you are interested in teen romance, Maxton Hall would appeal to you. Otherwise, the intense social media buzz surrounding the series could lead to disappointment. The actual plot might not live up to the hype, leaving you feeling underwhelmed. The series explores the themes of class disparity, social pressures, and the challenges of belonging, only if done thoughtfully, that could have added more depth to the story and resonated with viewers.
